Vermont Hard Cider Company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role is essential in supporting our high-speed beverage manufacturing equipment and ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay Range: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour + shift differential
--> Actual compensation will be based on experience, skill level, and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed production and packaging equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) to reduce downtime
- Diagnose and repair mechanical systems (conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves)
- Support line startups, changeovers, and breakdown response
- Identify root causes and drive continuous improvement
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics
- Complete work orders and track maintenance activity
Equipment
You’ll be hands-on with real production equipment, including Krones, KHS, Sidel, BWIS, Fanuc, Angelus, Columbia, Douglas, Kegtechnik; fillers, seamers, conveyors, pumps, motors, automated lines
Qualifications
- 2+ years industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing environment required)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills (electrical is a plus)
- Experience with automated or high-speed equipment preferred
- Ability to work independently on 2nd shift
- Comfortable working in a production environment
